This service includes the registration of an end-user device in the Microsoft Windows Autopilot deployment service after the device has already been delivered to the customer. The service is intended for situations where the device has been purchased previously or through another supply channel and needs to be registered to the customer?s Microsoft Entra ID / Active Directory environment and device management platform such as Microsoft Intune. The Autopilot registration enables the device to be automatically configured during the first startup. Once the device is powered on and connected to the network, predefined applications, settings, and policies are delivered automatically according to the customer?s deployment configuration. For the service to be completed, the customer must provide the necessary device identification information (for example the hardware hash or Autopilot CSV data) and must approve F9 Distribution Oy as a Microsoft CSP partner in their Microsoft tenant. This service covers registration tasks only. The physical device is not processed in the F9 installation center.

Windows Autopilot is a solution that streamlines the deployment of new PCs within an organization. Autopilot connects the device to the organization?s Azure Active Directory (AD) and device management system. To use Windows Autopilot, the customer must have Azure AD and Microsoft Intune or another device management solution that supports Autopilot. The device must also have a supported version of Windows 11 installed. Service Scope Autopilot Preparation ? Collecting the information required for Autopilot registration from the device. Autopilot Registration ? Adding the device to the Windows Autopilot deployment service. Customer provided Group Tag identifiers can also be used during registration. The Group Tag must be provided in the additional text field on the order line. Service Activation Before placing the first order, the service must be activated. The activation process begins with the ?Autopilot Service Activation? form, which collects the necessary customer information such as customer details, domain and tenant ID, and the email address of a user with Global Admin rights. F9 will send a permission request to this Global Admin. Once the request is approved, the service becomes available for ordering. You can find the ?Autopilot Service Activation? form in the product links section of the product card. IMPORTANT Please provide the end customer?s domain and Tenant ID, as well as any Group Tag identifier, in the additional text field of the order line. The target lead time for pre-installation services is 2?4 business days. Actual lead time may vary depending on the scope of the installation service and the size of the order.

The service is intended for scenarios where the customer performs Microsoft Autopilot registration independently, uses a third-party deployment partner, manages registrations through a centralized IT organization, or where direct tenant registration by the service provider is not possible due to regional, tenant, security, or Microsoft policy limitations. The service does not include Microsoft Autopilot registration, Microsoft Entra ID or Intune configuration, tenant administration, or device provisioning activities. Customer Requirements The customer must provide a valid email address or a customer-managed secure file transfer location (such as SFTP) for the delivery of the exported hardware hash files. The service provider is not responsible for delays or delivery issues caused by incorrect contact details, inaccessible file transfer locations, or customer-side access restrictions.
