The Dell SA124 is a USB-C to HDMI 2.1 adapter for connecting a computer to a monitor, television or projector equipped with an HDMI input. The adapter uses the DisplayPort Alt Mode video signal from the computer?s USB-C port.

The adapter supports resolutions up to 8K at a 60 Hz refresh rate and 4K at 144 Hz. HDR10 support enables HDR content to be displayed on a compatible monitor. Using the highest display modes requires compatible hardware and DSC display compression support.

Plug and Play setup requires no separate driver installation. The adapter supports 64-bit Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems, as well as Modern Standby. It also supports 4K and Full HD displays without DSC, at refresh rates supported by the hardware.
